Five DIY Jewellery Ideas

Today I thought that I’d share some of my original jewellery designs with you. They are all quite quirky and make lovely presents (or to keep for yourself!).

  1. Button charm bracelet

All you need is a chain, a handful of buttons, jump rings and pliers (and some patience).

2. Gryffindor Scarf earrings

You don’t need to be a Hogwarts student to make these. Just make two identical friendship bracelets and attach them to earring hooks – no magic needed!

   3. A book charm bracelet

Print out images of your favourite books and stick them onto several layers of card. Finish off with a lick of varnish and attach a jump ring.

4. A C3PO and R2D2 necklace

The Force is strong with this one. The pendant is made in the same way as number 3.

5. Vinyl record cover earrings

Find a picture of an album cover (check for copyright) and paste it on a picture of a vinyl record. Print it out and finish it the same way as numbers 3 and 4.

If you try any of these, please let me know in the comments!

  1. Have also come across some fascinating post-prandial creations using mineral water bottle tops. Such a pleasure visiting this happy site.
